MSP Delegation at the UN’s Fourth Committee.

A delegation from the Sahrawis for Peace Movement (MSP) is in New York to participate, for the first time, in the sessions of the UN Fourth Committee (Special Political and Decolonization Committee), which is responsible for decolonization issues.

The delegation, comprising the First Secretary of the MSP and the Head of International Relations, will each have interventions during the Committee’s work where they will defend what is making headway in the public option as the “third way,” a new approach that advocates for a cessation of hostilities and the search for a political solution with no losers or winners and with international guarantees.

As part of their visit to the United States, the MSP delegation was received in Washington last week by a large number of congressmen, former State Department officials, and experts on international issues.
